The University of Kentucky College of Medicine, in collaboration with Medikly presents the Healthcare Disparities Action Lab Initiative (HALI), an interactive CME certified activity that combines social media tools with medical education. In addition to the assessment survey, HALI has launched six exciting, brief (about 10 minutes) but real-world discussions that help shed light on key challenges related to healthcare disparities. The podcasts are a convenient way to access practical information and insights on the go and earn CME credit at the same time.
HALI is designed to help learners review and discuss current state of disparities in key disease states and identify, review and analyze quality measures for cultural competence and develop and integrate cultural competent practices for addressing and minimizing health care disparities among ethnic populations.
The podcasts are available for free download and for you to share with your peers.
