Needs Statement

Social media has become the dominant mode of communication for adolescents today, and it has fundamentally transformed how they interact with each other and the world.  This shift has had both positive and negative side effects on their mental health.  Understanding these dynamics is essential for helping them navigate this digital landscape in healthy ways. 

Target Audience

The target audience for this course includes educators and parents.

Objectives

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Understanding advantages and disadvantages.
  2. Knowing how to support adolescents in using social media.
