Needs Statement
Lack of understanding the processes involved in publishing scientific studies is an impediment to participation for many clinicians. This module will help the learner better understand the process of submission to JOT and collaboration between JOT and EAST.Target Audience
Any health care provider interested in research and publication.Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:- Discuss the current status and publications statistics of the Journal of Trauma
- Explain the principles of manuscript preparation and seeing a research project from inception to publication
- Discuss the Journal of Trauma manuscript submission and review process
- Provide tips to success and increasing involvement with the JOT
