Jordan Clay, MD

Jordan L. Clay is a board-certified neurologist with additional board certifications and accredited fellowship training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, notably drug-resistant epilepsy. Other clinical interests are epilepsy surgery evaluation/planning, management of neuromodulation device therapies for epilepsy, and management of epilepsy in the elderly.

Dr. Clay is originally from Kentucky, and completed undergraduate studies, medical school, and his residency in neurology at the University of Kentucky. He then completed specialized fellowship training at the University of Virginia before returning home to Kentucky to join the UK neurology faculty as an epileptologist.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and the American Epilepsy Society. He also has interests in medical education and serves as an associate director for the neurology clerkship and the neurophysiology elective for the 3rd and 4th year UK medical students. He is also a clinical preceptor for the advanced clinical medicine course for the 2nd year UK medical students.

Key Douthitt, MD

Doctor Key Douthitt is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Kentucky, East Kentucky Family Medicine residency program and practiced in Jackson, Kentucky for 7 years before returning to the UK Department of Family and Community Medicine as an assistant professor in 2016. He currently serves as medical director of the University of Kentucky North Fork Valley Community Health Center in Hazard, Kentucky where he created and serves as the primary clinician of a multi-disciplinary diabetes clinic. He has presented locally and internationally for his work in the care of underserved populations and in his work with resident diabetes education.

Connie Jennings, MD

Medical Director, Integrative Medicine and Health Clinic and CareBlue Service

Dr. Jennings has been practicing general internal medicine at UK HealthCare since 1993 after completing her residency at UK. She has enjoyed a varied practice from teens to geriatrics and continues to see three generations of many families. Since 2005 she has incorporated medical acupuncture into her practice. This led to a deep appreciation for the importance of integrative medicine and the need to treat the whole patient, mind, body and spirit.


Currently, Dr. Jennings serves as the Medical Director for the UK Integrative Medicine and Health Clinic and the CareBlue Service. These practices connect her with many separate entities across the entire campus for teaching purposes. She happily serves on the Sustainability Committee and Greenspace Task Force as well as leading the Walk With a Doc program. Her free time is spent with family, historical novels, piano practice and tree hugging.

Archana Kudrimoti, MD(MBBS), MPH

Archana Kudrimoti attended medical school at Osmania Medical College Hyderabad India (MBBS Degree 1992), with additional post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD) at Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad, India (1994).She came to United States in 1996 and made Kentucky her home since then.

She completed a Family Medicine Residency from 1999–2002 at University of Louisville and was elected as Chief Resident in the final year of residency (2001–02). She sought additional training in Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at University of Louisville and a Fellowship in Geriatrics in 2002- 2004.

Dr. Kudrimoti joined the University of Kentucky as Assistant Professor at the UK Residency Program in Hazard KY (2005- 2009). She served as the Medical Director for the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center for 2 years while residing at Hazard. She moved to Lexington in 2009 and has been practicing primary care and Geriatrics for the past 15 years at UK Healthcare in Lexington. She also spent the last 15 years teaching medical students and training resident physicians. She is currently the Residency Program director at UK Family Medicine Residency, Lexington Campus.

Dr Lexi Lahey is a PGY1 ambulatory care pharmacy resident She is originally from Valparaiso Indiana and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana Her current professional interests include ambulatory care and cardiology In addition to her clinical responsibilities she is involved in the University of Kentucky curriculum committee as well as the resident social committee She has early committed to a PGY2 in Cardiology here at UKHC

Sarah Marks, MD, MA, FAAFP

A Lexington native, Dr. Sarah Marks graduated from UK with a Bachelor of Arts degree in linguistics and English. She received her Master of Arts in linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then returned to UK for medical school. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked in medical student education and the Interprofessional Teaching Clinic at the University of Kansas before coming to the University of Kentucky in 2019. At UK, Dr. Marks is the associate program director and maternity care director in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and is focused on residency education and curriculum design. Her clinical interests include LGBTQ* health, women’s health, substance use disorders and family centered maternity care and she is one class away from completing a Master of Education degree.

Dr, Marks joined the University of Kansas Family Medicine department's Interprofessional Teaching Clinic and the Family Medicine Clerkship before coming back to UK.

Kathleen Roberts, MD

Dr. Kathleen Roberts currently practices as a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at the University of Kentucky. She received her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency and Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship training at the University of Kentucky. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, she provides care for the general orthopedic walk-in clinic, non-operative musculoskeletal treatment to everyone from recreational athletes to highly competitive individuals, as well as a high-volume ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedure clinic. She serves as the Team Physician for Lexington Sporting Club and Eastern Kentucky University.

Mandakini Sadhir, MD

Dr. Sadhir is a Adolescent Medicine physician, Division Chief and Medical director at Division of Adolescent Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. Dr. Sadhir received a medical degree from Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra, India. She completed her Pediatric Residency and Chief year at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. She pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Adolescent Medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Inc., Milwaukee. Dr. Sadhir is a member of the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Kentucky Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Ohio Valley Regional Chapter of the Ohio Valley Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine, and North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She currently serves as Chair of Adolescent Health task Force with Kentucky Chapter – American Academy of Pediatrics. She led AAP Adolescent Vaccinations and Wellness Grant Program (2019-2020) to improve HPV vaccination in KY. She also worked with the KY AAP chapter on the School safety grant and led Cyberbullying Teen Round initiative. She has received a Special Achievement Awards from the Kentucky Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics for her work. She has also been recognized by faculty, staff, and leadership and received the Chairman’s Resident Teaching Award and received the Heinrich Werner Miracle Maker Award at UK Healthcare.
Dr. Sadhir has been dedicated to quality improvement and has taken on leadership roles in Kentucky Children’s Hospital, the Department of Pediatrics, and the Division of Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Sadhir assisted in completing the Behavioral/Mental Health section of the U.S. News and World Report Novel Hospital Survey. Recently, Dr. Sadhir served as the Chair of the Kentucky Children’s Hospital – Ambulatory Behavioral/Mental Health Steering Committee and provided recommendation to the leadership for Pediatric Behavioral Health program. She has been selected to serve on the US New and World Report Best Children’s Hospital working group on Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral and Mental health. She continues to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care for adolescents and young adults and is very well versed with common mental health concerns in the adolescent population.

Jessica Setser, MD

My name is Jessica Setser. I am originally from Morristown, TN. I attended East Tennessee State University where I earned by BS in Biology. I then proceeded on to medical school at East Tennessee State University as well. I completed my residency at the University of Kentucky where I also served as Chief Resident. I then was fortunate enough to obtain an Attending physician position at UK where I have continued my career. Not only do I see patients in the outpatient setting, but I also see patients in the hospital setting where I serve as our department’s inpatient director. I also work closely with our residents and serve as the Advanced Development Director for the fourth-year medical students.

I greatly enjoy developing relationships with families and caring for all members of a family. There is never a dull day in family medicine and I feel that I learn something every day which is very gratifying.

Outside of clinic I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and going to concerts.

Padmaja Sudhakar, MD

Dr. Padmaja Sudhakar earned her medical degree at Madras Medical College, Park Town, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Dr. Sudhakar completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Medical Research Foundation in India. Additionally, Dr. Sudhakar completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center, Ann Arbor and a neurology residency at the University of Kentucky. Her clinical interests include ocular motility disorders and pseudotumor cerebri.

Shannon Voogt, MD

Dr. Shannon Joy Voogt received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, East Lansing and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Mich.

Dr. Voogt's clinical interests include global health pediatrics, family centered maternity care, women's health, breast feeding, and geriatrics. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

She performs gynecologic procedures such as endometrial biopsy, colposcopy and loop electrical excision procedures (LEEP). She also performs home visits, particularly for newborns.
