On June 1, 2013, UK HealthCare CECentral was approved as a Portfolio Sponsor
by the ABMS™ Portfolio Program to develop, monitor and approve quality
improvement (QI) projects for MOC Part IV credit for actively participating
UK HealthCare-affiliated physicians. The UK HealthCare (UKHC) CECentral MOC Part
IV Program assists physicians in meeting MOC Part IV requirements for American
Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) member boards participating in the
ABMS™ Portfolio Program. (See Resources for a list of participating ABMS
boards.)
The UKHC CECentral MOC Part IV Program:
Focuses on requirements of participating ABMS boards for MOC Part IV
practice performance assessment
Oversees documentation to assure that UKHC-affiliated QI projects
meet these requirements
Approves Part IV credit and offers 30 PI CME AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (if applicable) for qualifying physicians actively participating
in UKHC-affiliated QI projects as part of their routine work as well as
other QI projects
Reduces the administrative burden for UK HealthCare-affiliated
physicians seeking MOC Part IV credit as part of their recertification
requirements with participating boards
