Division of Community Medicine and the Kentucky Ambulatory Network (KAN):

The Division of Community Medicine is part of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine. Its programs and activities involve medical student and resident curricular design and development, research, and service activities. Housed within the Division of Community Medicine, the Kentucky Ambulatory Network (KAN) was established in 2000. Educators, researchers, and clinicians collaborate across the state of Kentucky and beyond to advance the field of Community Medicine and Population Health. The overarching goal of the Network is to improve the wellbeing of our patients and communities through meaningful primary care practiced based research. West Virginia University School of Medicine and West Virginia Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN):

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and West Virginia Prevention Research Center/West Virginia Office of Health Services/ West Virginia Pain Management Center:

Its programs and activities involve medical student and resident curricular design and development, research, and service activities. The West Virginia Practice-Based Research Network (WV-PBRN) was recently established in 2013. Educators, researchers and clinicians will collaborate across the academic organizations, professional associations and PBRN’s to advance the field of Medicine.
