
Study Training Modules
Lung Cancer Screening Program team members and research team members will complete the following training modules, specified as required or optional for their respective roles.
The following continuing education web-based training modules are accessed via the links below or by selecting the appropriate link under the Study Training Modules on the navigation menu to the left. The web-based training modules are up to 60 minutes each in duration, with specified CME or CE credits provided after evaluations are complete.
The target audience for each web-based training module is listed for each session and includes physicians, nurses, navigators, research coordinators and others involved in this research study at your institution.
In order to assess the overall benefit of these web-based training modules and to determine ways we can improve, please take the pre-test (5 minutes) before beginning any of the modules and the post-test (5 minutes) once you have completed all the modules that you will be taking.
Instructions to complete the pre-test:- Click the “Take the Pre-test” tab below
- Click the “Learn” tab on the Pre-test screen
- Take the pre-test
- Click “Done” when you have finished (Do not hit Done twice)
- Click “Get Credit” on the Pre-test screen
- Confirm that you have completed the Pre-test
- Click “Submit”
- Scroll to top of page and Click "Back to Series Home"

6. Smoking Cessation Medication: Considerations in Lung Cancer Screening
Audience: Nurses, navigators and others involved or responsible for smoking cessation counseling or discussion with lung cancer screening participants, required. Others, optional. |
7. Shared Decision Making
Audience: Physicians, Nurses, Navigators and others involved or responsible for discussion with prospective participants and participants of lung cancer screening, required. Others, optional. |
8. Multidisciplinary Evaluation of Lung Cancer: Escalation of Work-ups and Care
Audience: Physicians, Nurses, Navigators and others involved in clinical management of participants of lung cancer screening, required. Others, optional. |
9. Radon Prevention & Second-Hand Smoke
