Kentucky State Senate Bill 32 (2017) mandated that drug conviction data be made available in KASPER effective July 1, 2018. Education to prescribers and dispensing pharmacists on how to interpret this data in the context of patient care and opioid prescribing is needed to help prevent unintended consequences.
