Welcome to the Online Conference

This Faculty Development Series was designed to help new and seasoned clinician-teachers make the most of their teaching opportunities with learners. It was developed specifically for the community faculty at the Morehead Regional Campus as they assume responsibility for the third and fourth year students on their clinical rotations as part of the Rural Physician Leadership Program; yet the principles, topics, and teaching strategies described in this series may be widely applied to learners of many different levels (including residents and fellows) and in many clinical settings. The goals of this series are to facilitate teachers’ understanding of adult learners and their needs, and provide specific teaching ideas and tools to maximize teaching and learning, provision of feedback, and remediation of learners in need.
