Biosketch
Mark Simpson has been a licensed clinical psychologist for 23-plus years. He has helped countless individuals work on overcoming their addictions and other habit disorders. In his private practice he has provided individual counseling to adolescents, adults, and couples.
Mark has combined his passion for sports and his skills as a psychologist to provide a service to athletes, coaches, and parents at all levels of competition. His belief is that working on the mental aspect of an individual’s game can bring better results.
Mark has lived in Lexington since 1983 and understands the love people have for all sports, from the Wildcats to their son or daughter’s sports team. Whether it is working with an individual, a team, or speaking with a group, Mark’s desire is to help people be successful both in their sport and in life.
Mark is a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and has presented at their annual conference. He is also a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association.
