Biosketch
Dr. Clay earned a PhD in Adult Education and Organizational Development from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a certificate in Bioethics from Creighton University, and a Global Health Certificate from the Gillings School of Public Health in Chapel Hill.
She teaches in the medical school curriculum (Principles of Bioethics, Society, Culture and Health Systems, and Research Ethics), and interdisciplinary social determinants of rural health courses for undergraduate and graduate students throughout the university.
Research interests include interprofessional education and moral distress especially for medical students.
