Biosketch
Jordan L. Clay is a board-certified neurologist with additional board certifications and accredited fellowship training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, notably drug-resistant epilepsy. Other clinical interests are epilepsy surgery evaluation/planning, management of neuromodulation device therapies for epilepsy, and management of epilepsy in the elderly.
Dr. Clay is originally from Kentucky, and completed undergraduate studies, medical school, and his residency in neurology at the University of Kentucky. He then completed specialized fellowship training at the University of Virginia before returning home to Kentucky to join the UK neurology faculty as an epileptologist.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and the American Epilepsy Society. He also has interests in medical education and serves as program director for the UK epilepsy fellowship. In addition, he is associate director of the neurophysiology elective for 4th year UK medical student and serves as a clinical preceptor for the advanced clinical medicine course for the 2nd year UK medical students.
