Biosketch
Dr. Scott Mair earned his MD from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, where he also completed his residency training. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Specializing in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, Dr. Mair has served as the orthopedic team physician for various University of Kentucky teams for over two decades, including men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. Additionally, he provides medical support as a team physician for Georgetown College and Kentucky State University Athletics.
Dr. Mair also holds the esteemed position of Sports Medicine Fellowship Director, guiding aspiring physicians in this specialized field. His special interests include shoulder reconstruction and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, and ankle.
