Biosketch
Dr. Thornbury began his medical education at the University of Kentucky, graduating from the College of Pharmacy with an Honors Program distinction. He practiced five years in the rural Appalachian mountains of Virginia before returning to study medicine at the University of Louisville, where he graduated and completed work with Harvard Medical School at The Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
He has practiced medicine for fifteen years with expertise in family and internal medicine. His clinical research interests involve Mobile E-Visit technology, in particular, its use in dissimilar populations. Dr. Thornbury’s academic interests involve Lean Organizational Health Systems with emphasis in its application in outpatient clinics, as well as, educating medical professionals in True Lean Systems.
Dr. Thornbury is the Founder of Me-Visit, a company pledged to help pioneer solutions to improve healthcare delivery and help end medical homelessness. He is CEO and Medical Director of Medical Associates Clinic in Glasgow.
