Biosketch
Dr. Karsh has practiced general urology and urologic surgery in Denver for many years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Denver Academy of Surgery, the American Urological Association and the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. Dr. Karsh is also an elected member of the Society of Urologic Oncology and is an editorial board member of OncologyLive Urologists in Cancer Care.
Dr. Karsh has served as the principal investigator of more than 200 clinical trials. He is a current member of the Society of Urologic Oncology Clinical Trials Consortium board of directors and bladder cancer sub-committee. He sits on many advisory boards for new drug development and lectures at scientific meetings throughout the country, including the American Urological Association's Annual Meeting.
Dr. Karsh earned a BA from the University of Colorado. He earned an MD from the Chicago Medical School and then completed general surgical training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Karsh completed residency training in urologic surgery at Harvard Medical School at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Specialties include genitourinary oncology, prostate disease, male urinary incontinence, urinary stone disease, vasectomy, and clinical research.
