Biosketch
Doctor Key Douthitt is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Kentucky, East Kentucky Family Medicine residency program and practiced in Jackson, Kentucky for 7 years before returning to the UK Department of Family and Community Medicine as an assistant professor in 2016. He currently serves as medical director of the University of Kentucky North Fork Valley Community Health Center in Hazard, Kentucky where he created and serves as the primary clinician of a multi-disciplinary diabetes clinic. He has presented locally and internationally for his work in the care of underserved populations and in his work with resident diabetes education.
