Ashley Mahon, RN, BSN, OCN

Ashley Mahon graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She began working at Markey Cancer Center in 2008. As a Registered Nurse she cared for Medical Oncology, Hematologic Malignancy, and Bone Marrow Transplant patients. She received her national certification as on Oncology Certified Nurse in 2016.

After 10 years of service as an inpatient oncology nurse, she transitioned to outpatient oncology Chemo/Infusion in the role of Divisional Charge Nurse. She currently holds the position of Nurse Manager for Chemo/Infusion, Apheresis, and Precision Medicine Clinic. She is dedicated to providing a patient-centered care environment to the oncology patient population and is eager to see the positive impact the APP infusion room pilot has on cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
