Biosketch
Dr. Hull has been in practice with Radiology Associates of Richmond, Vascular and Intervention since 1993.
Dr. Hull received his medical degree from Duke University, Durham, NC. He followed with a surgical internship at National Naval Medical Center and then a radiology residency at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. After residency, he served active duty in the United States Navy at Naval Hospital, San Diego, CA.
During his time with Radiology Associates, Dr. Hull has served Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology since 1999, Director of Vascular Center Chippenham Johnston-Willis since 2000, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Interventional Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University since 2004.
Dr. Hull has served as Chief of Staff, Assistant Chief of Staff and Chairman of Human Research for Chippenham Johnston-Willis Medical Center. He has also served as Second Vice President of the Richmond Academy. He has been Director for the Vascular Center of Excellence at Chippenham Medical Center.
Because of his service to medicine, Dr. Hull has on several occasions been voted by his peers to be one of the Top Docs in Richmond. He has received several honors and recognition for service, such as the Navy Commendation Medal, Distinguished Reviewer for Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and Associate Editor for Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Hull is actively involved in research and has written and published several articles in the scientific literature. Areas of expertise and research include Dialysis access, Carotid stent placement, Endograft repair of thoracic and abdominal aneurysms, Inferior vena cava filter placement and retrieval, Thrombolysis for acute lower limb ischemia, and Thrombolysis for acute stroke.
