Biosketch
My name is Jessica Setser. I am originally from Morristown, TN. I attended East Tennessee State University where I earned by BS in Biology. I then proceeded on to medical school at East Tennessee State University as well. I completed my residency at the University of Kentucky where I also served as Chief Resident. I then was fortunate enough to obtain an Attending physician position at UK where I have continued my career. Not only do I see patients in the outpatient setting, but I also see patients in the hospital setting where I serve as our department’s inpatient director. I also work closely with our residents and serve as the Advanced Development Director for the fourth-year medical students.
I greatly enjoy developing relationships with families and caring for all members of a family. There is never a dull day in family medicine and I feel that I learn something every day which is very gratifying.
Outside of clinic I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and going to concerts.
