Biosketch
Dr. Kingston, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and Assistant Professor, joined the department in 2019. Prior to joining the department, he was a Medical Office Chief with Kaiser Permanente in Colorado, and was in a rural practice in Texas.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech School of Medicine. Dr. Kingston completed a residency at Texas Tech in Amarillo and later served as the Residency Director of that program. He also completed a faculty development fellowship at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Clinically, Dr. Kingston enjoys getting to know his patients, teaching students and residents, and practicing a wide range of outpatient medicine for patients of all ages.
Personally, Dr. Kingston is married to Sharai, and has two daughters, one of whom is at the University of Kentucky. He enjoys doing numerous outdoor activities, especially landscape photography.
