Biosketch
Dr. Borders earned an MSc in Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, an MD from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and an MPH at Northwestern University. She completed residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship and a NRSA Post-Doctoral fellowship in Health Services Research at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation in Chicago, Illinois.
The Illinois Perinatal Quality Collaborative is a collaborative of over 100 birthing hospitals focused on improving outcomes for mothers and newborns. She is an ex-officio member of the ACOG Committee on Obstetric Practice and the Committee on Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. She also serves on the National Network of Perinatal Quality Collaboratives Executive Committee.
