Mary Beth E. Allen, PhD, MBA

Dr. Mary Beth Allen serves as the Health Policy Specialist for the KyPQC through the Department for Public Health. Dr. Allen has a PhD in Public Health from the Department of Health Policy Management and Systems Sciences at the University of Louisville and a Master of Business Administration. Her dissertation is titled Cost of Care of Hospitalized Patients with Pulmonary Mycobacterial Diseases in the United States. She has experience in public health program management, federal grants management, fiscal management, clinical research, cross disciplinary collaboration, and health plan policy development.
