Biosketch
Dr. Kemp is a U.S. board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist. Dr. Kemp's educational background includes a BA with from the University of Oregon and an MD and PhD from the University of Chicago. He completed residency training in Pediatrics at Stanford University followed by sub specialty fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology. Dr. Kemp is Professor of Pediatrics and Medical Humanities at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he has been since 1984. His research is in the area of growth hormone therapy. He has a broad list of medical publications, abstracts, and posters and has taught medical students and residents. Dr. Kemp is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Clinical Endocrinology. For five years he served as president of the Human Growth Foundation, a national non-profit organization dedicated to offering support to people and families with growth disorders through education, research, and advocacy. Dr. Kemp currently serves on the Medical Editorial Board of eMedicine.com. Dr. Kemp\\\\\\\'s special interest in medicine also includes Medical Ethics. He currently resides in Arkansas with his wife. In addition to his medical career, Dr. Kemp is a composer with a number of pieces published and recorded.
