Biosketch
Anna Thamann graduated from University of Louisville Medical School in 2017 She then completed Child Neurology residency at University of Louisville and Norton Childrens Hospital in 2022 with a minifellowship in Neonatal Neurology After graduation she joined University of Kentucky Neuroscience Institute in the Division of Child Neurology She is board certified in Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology In clinical practice she is the cofounder of the neonatal neurology multidisciplinary follow up clinic in conjunction with the NICU Graduate and Infant Complex Care programs where she sees infants and toddlers after perinatal brain injury In addition to neonatal neurology Dr Thamann is interested in improving communication with families regarding complex neurologic diagnoses and educating the next generation of physicians as the Associate Program Director for the child neurology residency program and an advisor in UK College of Medicine
