Biosketch
Anthony J. Casale, M.D., is a native of Owensboro, Kentucky. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at UKMC and a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Harvard University and Boston Children’s Hospital. He has served on the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Indiana University, The University of Louisville, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore. He served as Chief of Pediatric Urology in Wisconsin, Louisville, and New York and as Department Chair at Louisville and Vice-Chair at Montefiore. He has published numerous chapters and presentations over a 40-year academic career. He has been active in leadership roles in local, regional, national, and international organizations in pediatric urology. His fields of interest are complex lower urinary tract reconstruction in children and residency education (after serving as residency director or associate director for 17 years). He is currently a Professor of Urology at the University of Kentucky and Chief of Pediatric Urology.
