Biosketch
Carly Metz is an experienced Advanced Practice Provider with nearly 10 years of critical care nursing experience, including over 7.5 years working specifically with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation). After earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Cincinnati, Carly has dedicated her career to improving critical care outcomes for pediatric patients.
For the past two years, Carly has served as a Pediatric Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider, and currently holds the role of Pediatric ECMO Coordinator at Kentucky Children's Hospital. In this position, She is responsible for leading and overseeing the newly established Pediatric ECMO Specialist Program, which focuses on providing high-quality ECMO services to the children of Kentucky.
Passionate about advancing ECMO care and ensuring optimal outcomes, Carly is committed to delivering exceptional ECMO services in their region while continuing to expand knowledge and expertise in pediatric ECMO management.
