Biosketch
Traceee Rose, MSN, RN, CCNS-BC, CCRN-K, is the Acute Care Division Director for the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council (STRAC). At STRAC, Traceee is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of programs focusing on the trauma and emergency healthcare system for San Antonio and the surrounding 22 county region of STRAC. One of these major programs is the STRAC Regional Whole Blood Program. This program is a national leader in integrating and promoting the use of whole blood in the pre-hospital environment.
She is a retired Army Nurse and in her almost 27 years of service, she had multiple assignments, and duty positions filling various clinical and administrative roles as she progressed from staff nurse to critical care nurse, and finally to a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. During her service she deployed once to Afghanistan (2005) and once to Iraq (2011). Traceee joined STRAC in 2020 after moving back to San Antonio from Oklahoma City where she moved following her retirement from the US Army in 2017. Traceee earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University in 2002 and her Master of Science in Nursing (Critical Care) from the University of Cincinnati in 2012.
