Biosketch
Dr. Subhendu Rath is a board-certified neurologist, epileptologist, and sleep medicine specialist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of neurologic sleep disorders. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Rath completed his Sleep Medicine and Epilepsy Fellowships at the University of Michigan and his Neurology Residency at the University of Connecticut, where he also served as Chief Resident. He holds multiple board certifications, including Neurology, Epilepsy, and Sleep Medicine. His research and clinical interests focus on the intersection of sleep and neurological disorders.
A dedicated educator and researcher, Dr. Rath has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and presented at national and international conferences. He actively contributes to the advancement of sleep medicine through his roles in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Epilepsy Society, serving on committees focused on CME, research, and policy advocacy.
