Bonnie L. Mitchell, MD

Dr. Bonnie L. Mitchell is currently Professor of Pathology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (UKCOM). She is also Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Mitchell has served as a UKCOM faculty member for over 29 years. She completed her residency in Anatomic Pathology and Renal Fellowship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and is a graduate of the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Nephrology.
