Biosketch
Audrey Darville is an associate professor in the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Nursing and a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner. As a certified tobacco treatment specialist, she provides tobacco dependence treatment, engages in research, and collaborates with communities to provide cessation programs, prevention initiatives, workshops and trainings. As co-director of the Tobacco Prevention and Treatment Division of BREATHE (Bridging Research Efforts and Advocacy Toward Healthy Environments), Audrey developed and is the course director of the all-online BREATHE Tobacco Treatment Specialist training program, and for the graduate certificate in tobacco treatment at UK. She is part of an interdisciplinary team of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars at UK, focused on tackling complex health problems to promote a national Culture of Health.
