Biosketch
Dr. Shah joined Boulder Heart in 2014. Previously, he served as a clinical electrophysiologist and Assistant professor at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Dr. Shah received his medical degree from the Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in Mumbai, India. He also holds a Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Texas in Houston. Dr. Shah completed his internal medicine residency at State University of New York in Syracuse. He pursued cardiology fellowship training with the Division of Cardiology at University of Louisville and later his electrophysiology training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Shah is board certified in electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiology and internal medicine. He has clinical expertise in rhythm-related problems which can be resolved by ablations or devices. He emphasizes evidence-based, patient-centered care while never losing sight of the needs of his patients and their families.
