Biosketch
Robert C. Mock Jr., Ed.D. is the Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Kentucky where he plans to acquire a teaching appointment in the College of Communications and African-American Studies. Dr. Mock’ s previous appointment was Vice Provost for Student Affairs at the University of Arkansas and tri-level appointments with the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas State University, Jonesboro and University of Arkansas at Little Rock which allowed him the exposure to multiple administrative models and research opportunities. His successful consulting business has been performing well since 1999. He has over a decade of corporate business experience as a former Associate Plant Manager for Illinois Tool Works in the Paslode division and as a Quality Control Manager with Pepsi-Cola Company. He also served our country as an officer in the Army National Guard from 2002-2010. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with minors in Physics and Mathematics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Finally, he holds has a Masters degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration.
